Lilies such as the 'Oriental White\/Pink' variety will grow up to 90cm tall with a spread of up to 30cm and should be underplanted with lower-growing perennials. This height tends to require that the lilies be staked in order to avoid drooping. They grow at a fast rate and if cared for can be expected to last up to 10 years.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThey prefer a heavy, well drained soil with a good covering of peat in order to retain moisture in the soil. These bulbs should be planted between March and June.
