This taller selection of lily produces enormous (12-20cm), pollen free, double flowers with a lighter perhaps more pleasant scent over regular oriental lilies.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThey prefer a rich, moist soil on the acidic\/ericaceous  side, with similar needs to rhododendrons. These bulbs should be planted between March and June. Ideally the bulbs should be planted in a position of sun or partial shade, protected from strong winds, but avoiding dry, hot locations such as along a south facing wall.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eTry to plant the bulbs approximately 15cm deep and 30cm apart as they can stretch as far as 90cm tall and 40cm wide when fully developed and settled.
