Then place the bulbs close together into the container, making sure that they are not touching each other or the sides of the container. Then fill around the bulbs with more bulb fibre or compost with the tip of the bulbs just poking through.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIn order to develop a healthy root system the container should then be moved into a blackout environment such as a bin bag and placed into a dark cool corner of a cellar, shed or garage. Make sure to check regularly and water if the growing medium is dying out.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eOnce the roots have developed and the shoots are around 5cm\/2\" in length, the containers can be brought indoors, into a cool room away from light to allow the leaves to green up.
