From November onwards, it will also produce cup-shaped, deep purple flowers with vibrant central stamen that provides a much-needed burst of colour when other flowers are dormant. This charming and fully hardy hellebore thrives in borders, pots or containers and is perfect for front gardens, house entrances and terraces.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eTo get the best display of Hellebore blooms, dig a hole at least double the size of the root ball. Immerse the potted root ball in a bucket of water before planting and wait for the bubbles to stop rising to the surface. Then loosen the soil around the hole and position the Hellebore, lightly covering it with soil. Once planted, create a small circular ridge in the soil around the blooms to aid water retention. Ensure that your Hellebore doesn’t dry out, but don’t over water it either.
