‘William’s Bon Chretien’ Pear Tree is a popular dessert pear and one of the oldest in cultivation.

Grown in Britain since the late 18th Century, this pear is large and smooth skinned in shape, juicy in texture with a delicious flavour. Best eaten fresh.

This pear is available on a rootstock to make it suitable for growing in your garden. The rootstock controls the rate of growth and ensures the tree fruits earlier than when grown on its own roots.

Quince A, a Semi-Vigorous variety, is suitable for most soils and sites. This rootstock allows the tree to grow to a mature height of up to 3.5m (11ft) of 10 years.
