The bright and colourful Wildlife World Shesali Artisan Wild Bird Nester is handmade to a high quality from natural seagrass and recycled sari fabric, handwoven and stitched onto a metal frame by local artisan women in rural Southern Bangladesh.
The Shesali nester is ‘Oval’ in shape and offers a medium-sized cavity, not only are they a stunning visual addition to your garden, they are also sturdy and robust enough to last the test of time under almost all conditions. The nester has a sturdy inner frame for support with hooks at the rear, plus a long loop at the top to fasten the nester securely and attach it to natural leaf cover and vegetation of ivy, bushes, trees or hedges. It features a small round entrance reinforced with steel and is slightly protruding to make it easy for birds to land and perch on. Providing essential shelter and a place to roost for wild garden birds such as Blue Tits during the colder months, it will also provide a safe place for nesting in springtime too.
