Whartons Roses ‘Golden Showers’ Climbing Rose (4-Litre Pot)

The sunny yellow ‘Golden Showers’ climbing rose from Whartons Roses produces masses of semi-double, fragrant, large yellow blooms that repeat flower, lasting through to autumn.

With its vibrant sunshine hues this climbing rose creates a striking feature in any garden, and is perfect for growing along walls and up pillars. It also has wonderful glossy green, healthy foliage that covers its almost thornless stems, perfectly accentuating the brightness of the blooms.

This compact climber makes a great choice for smaller gardens, adding a host of ornamental interest to admire. It looks wonderful used in a variety of garden styles, but we love it grown in informal cottage garden spaces where it will accentuate the classic aesthetic.

This low-maintenance and reliable climbing rose is easy to grow, but to get the best blooms plant it with some soil improver or well-rotted manure, and add a sprinkling of Mycorrhizal Fungi to encourage strong root growth. Position your rose in a sunny spot, in moist but well-drained soil. You will then enjoy many years of magnificent floral displays and reliable growth.
