The ’Arthur Bell’ climbing rose from Whartons Roses produces masses of magnificent golden yellow blooms, that repeat flower through to autumn. This popular variety is loved for its perfectly formed, fragrant roses, coupled with robust and healthy growth.

This sensational floribunda has clusters of yellow roses that are mixed with simmering orange coloured rose buds, covering this climber in sunshine shades. The abundant roses are perfectly complemented by the glossy green foliage that accentuates and frames the beautiful blooms.

In addition to its roses, the ‘Arthur Bell’ climbing rose has proven healthy and robust growth, that will reliably repeat flower year after year. It also has the added benefit of being attractive to a range of bees and other pollinators, which has been recognised by the Royal Horticultural Society who added it to their Plants for Pollinators Collection.

It is a wonderful choice for adding colourful height to garden designs. Try planting it on pergolas or arches, where you can enjoy the fabulous fragrance as you brush past. Or position it against a red brick wall where it will accentuate the contrasting yellow of the blooms.  It also makes a wonderful addition to cut flower displays around the home, where the perfectly formed blooms fill each room with fragrance.

This sensational climbing rose is easy to grow, but to get the best floral display plant it with some soil improver or well-rotted manure, and add a sprinkling of Mycorrhizal Fungi to encourage strong root growth. Position your rose in a sunny spot in moist but well-drained soil. You will then enjoy many years of magnificent fragrant floral displays.
