Vitax Medo Pruning and Grafting Sealant is ready to use straight from the tub and protects open wounds on trees and woody shrubs.
It forms an elastic, waterproof skin that contains a protectant to help shield the wound from fungal and bacterial parasites.
When pruning, Medo should be applied to all open wounds caused by sawing or other damage to the bark. Ensure that you remove all loose bark and work Medo into the wound. You can also use Medo on wounds that have been caused by accidental damage.
If you’re grafting or budding trees, roses or shrubs simply apply Medo to the graft or scion once it has been securely bound.
