Veronica Spicata ‘Ulster Blue Dwarf’ is a compact perennial that produces dense, slender spires of star-shaped, deep blue flowers.

These striking flowers appear between June and August, above lance-shaped, hairy and toothed leaves.

Reaching an eventual height and spread of around 30-40cm, this compact deciduous perennial is perfect for the front of a summer border or in pots in a container garden.

It is hardy through most of the UK down to around -5 degrees and requires exceptionally low maintenance. It should be planted in a position of full or partial sun, into moist but well drained, neutral, acidic or alkaline soil. Watch for powdery or downy mildew and deadhead after flowering.
