Tulip ‘Flaming Flag’ (10 bulbs)

Tulip ‘Flaming Flag’ bulbs produce a truly unique flower with gorgeous lilac detailing that appears like an artist’s brushstroke from a watercolour painting.

With its bright neat white blossoms and delicately feathered lavender detailing, these delightful ‘Flaming Flag’ tulip bulbs grow to a height of around 45cm/18″ to create a wonderful display. Flowering in mid to late spring for up to three weeks, they have delightful sword-shaped grey-green leaves that contract perfectly with its bright petals.

These enormous and long-lasting spring flowering bulbs are perfect for pots or containers and will be a welcome addition to most borders, around shrubs and conifers. They should ideally be planted in groups of at least 10-15 for the greatest visual impact. In addition to this they are exceptional cut flowers to enjoy around the home.

‘Flaming Flag’ tulip bulbs should be planted 10cm/4″ deep and 10cm/4″ apart, growing in practically any soil, be it acidic, alkaline or neutral, provided there is effective drainage. Try to plant in a position of full sun, in a place where tulips have not been grown in recent years, preferably protected from strong winds.
