Tulipa ‘Apricot Foxx’ is a triumph group tulip that blooms with a curious colour combination of deep orange, gold and strong pink hues, all on a strong elegant stem.
‘Apricot Foxx’ tulips will flower throughout April and May, reaching a height of approximately 35cm/14″, above broadly lance-shaped green leaves.
These spring flowering bulbs are perfect for planting at the front of colourful flower beds, in patio pots and containers, or in window boxes to be admired while indoors. Tulips are also the perfect choice as cut flowers in flower arrangements to be enjoyed around the home.
‘Apricot Foxx’ tulip bulbs can be grown in a wide array of soil conditions, whether it is acidic, alkaline or neutral, so long as there is sufficient drainage. They will prefer a position of full sun, in a place where tulips have not been grown in recent years, preferably protected from strong winds. Look to plant the bulbs around 10cm/4″ deep and 10cm/4″ apart.
Remove any flowers when they begin to fade and support with a top dressing of slow acting fertiliser, such as bone-meal, after planting to assist the flowering.
