Tulip ‘Salmon Dynasty’ (10 bulbs)

Tulipa ‘Salmon Dynasty’ is a wonderful colour changing tulip, intensifying in colour over time with blooms of creamy yellow that feature soft blushes of pink or red, and a base of ivory white.

Flowering in April, these bulbs will reach a height of approximately 45cm/18″.

These ‘Salmon Dynasty’ bulbs will work brilliantly in beds and borders, in combination with flowering shrubs and conifers. They are also suitable for pots or containers and as cut flowers. For the greatest visual impact, plant in groups of at least 10-15, amongst other complementary shades such as a vivid pink or red in order to create contrast and bring out their subtle beauty.

‘Salmon Dynasty’ tulip bulbs should be planted 10cm/4″ deep and 10cm/4″ apart, in almost any soil, be it acidic, alkaline or neutral, so long as there is sufficient drainage. Plant in a position of full sun, in a place where tulips have not been grown in recent years, preferably protected from strong winds.

Remove flowers when they begin to fade and support them after planting with a top dressing of slow acting fertiliser, such as bone-meal, to assist the flowering.
