Tulipa ‘Belicia’ is a spectacular double flowering tulip that has cupped petals of white and cream, splashed with pink along the edges. As the blooms mature, this chameleon-like flower changes to deep pink along the edge that becomes more pronounced.
Blooming throughout mid and late spring, these bulbs will reach a height of around 40cm/16″, with tall rigid stems that are able to withstand heavy wind and rain.
For an impactful and captivating display, plant bulbs together en masse in groups of at least 10-15, alongside other colourful spring flowering bulbs. These bulbs can be used in beds, borders, containers or rock gardens and can also excel as cut flowers.
‘Belicia’ tulips will grow in a wide range of soils, acid, alkaline or neutral, provided there is good drainage, ideally in a position of full sun. Plant the bulbs approximately 15cm/6″ deep and 10cm/4″ apart.
