The Tom Chambers Sledmere Handcrafted Nest Box is a traditional wooden bird house to suit any outdoor setting.
With a 32mm entrance, it is designed to attract various species of small wild birds such as House Sparrows, Nuthatches and Great Tits.
This elegant and simple bird house has a sloping slate roof made from genuine slate. The roof can be removed easily by unscrewing for cleaning, which will encourage birds to return year after year.
A pre-drilled hanging hole is provided on the back of the nest box, so it can be hung up high and out of reach of predators.
We recommend locating the bird house away from prevailing wind and rain, as well as strong sunlight, and at least 1.5 metres above the ground. Please note that the bird house may be used as a roosting site during winter months, so be careful not to disturb nesting birds.
