Spring flowering plant with a compact habit, displays masses of pale blue flowers. Perfect for borders, beds and containers in semi-shaded locations.
How to sow
Sow seed on the surface of good free draining compost. Do not cover the seed. Seal container inside a polythene bag and place at 15-20˚C (59-68°F) until after germination which usually takes 2-4 weeks. Do not exclude daylight as this helps germination.
How to grow
Transplant seedlings, when large enough to handle, into pots. Grow on in cooler conditions before planting out 15cm (6in) apart. Overwinter autumn sowings in a coldframe and plant out in spring. Can also be sown outdoors, in spring, 6mm (1/4in) deep, in rows 30cm (12 in) apart. Later thin out seedlings to 23cm (9in) apart.
