Colourful deep pink flowers with contrasting orange cones are displayed above bushy plants. Highly attractive to butterflies. Ideal in full sun borders.
How to sow
Sow seed on the surface of good free draining, damp seed compost, cover with a fine sprinkling of compost or vermiculite. Place in a propagator or seal container inside a polythene bag and keep at 15-20˚C (59-68F) until after germination which takes 10-21 days. Do not exclude light as this helps germination.
How to grow
Transplant seedlings, when large enough to handle, into 7.5cm (3in) pots. Grow on in cooler conditions for a few weeks before planting out after all risk of frost,45cm (18in) apart.
