Ulyana Hammond was born in 1981 in St Petersburg, one of the most beautiful cities in Russia, known for its outstanding architecture and world famous museum The Hermitage. These delightful surroundings were an excellent source of inspiration as she grew up to appreciate the historical riches around her.
While studying traditional art and culture at university, Ulyana spent many hours sketching and perfecting the art of sculpture. Soon she discovered the rewarding outlet for her passion in art by painting contrasting shapes and colours with mixed media.
She works as part of The Wight Studios, which are located on the beautiful and historic Isle of Wight. The in-house team of artists and designers work together to produce distinctive and breath-taking pictures under the collective name of Wight Studios. The artists create images and designs for their exclusive use. All capturing the energy, nostalgia, textures and colours of their surroundings and inspiration.
