New for 2024, this beautiful perennial is due to be revealed by award winning horticulturalist, Raymond Evison at this year’s Chelsea Flower Show. With a show-stopping combination of large deep purple petals, vibrant green foliage and a compact climbing habit, the flowers naturally cluster together to make a dramatic statement.
As one of the first-generation varieties to come from Raymond Evison’s new breeding programme it combines a wide range of desirable attributes. These include, beautifully vibrant flowers and foliage, an abundance of blooms as well as a compact overall shape. This hardy plant makes the perfect addition to garden borders or as a container grown climber.
The 3-litre potted Clematis Lindsay will enjoy a spot with partial shade or full sun and prefers moist, well-drained soil. Flowering through from late spring to early autumn, this easy to grow deciduous perennial will grow to approximately 1.5m in height and is fully hardy.
