Narcissus ‘Sabrosa’ is a dwarf jonquil daffodil that grows to a compact height of around 15cm. Blooming throughout April this daffodil will grow short stems carrying two to four miniature lemon yellow cups.

The compact habit of this dwarf variety makes it perfect for underplanting the seasonal display in pots and window boxes. They are excellent for lining or filling out the front of the spring border and, due to their sweet scent, will also make an excellent addition to a posy.

Make sure to plant into well-drained soil containing some humus that also receives full sun the majority of the day. The flowers can then be cut and used in indoor floral arrangements where the fragrance can be enjoyed up close.

Plant these ‘Sabrosa’ bulbs around 10cm/4″ deep in the soil, and approximately 10cm apart for a uniform appearance or plant them in clumps to create a cluster of colour.
