Narcissus ‘Baby Moon’ is a sweetly scented miniature daffodil that grows between 3 and 5 small, soft golden-yellow flowers per stem. Emerging above its glass-like leaves, this variety naturalises well and will come back year after year.
Growing to a mature height of around 25cm/10″, these bulbs are perfect for beds, borders, around shrubs, under deciduous trees or in naturalised areas. For the best visual results, plant in informal groups for a fantastic splash of colour, when planted en masse.
Daffodils such as ‘Baby Moon’ will grow well in full sun or partial shade, in well-drained but moist, humus rich soil. Avoid very dry areas such as under conifers and plant at a depth and spread of 10cm/4″.
Fully hardy in the UK, the foliage should be allowed to die naturally as early removal can cause the bulb not to flower in the following year.
