Muscari armeniacum (25 bulbs)

Muscari armeniacum (Grape Hyacinth) is a strong-growing bulbous perennial that will grow dense clusters of tiny, bell-shaped, cobalt-blue flowers, each with a very delicate white border.

Emerging in March and April these flowers will bloom for several weeks, reaching a height of around 18cm/7″.

A recipient of the Royal Horticultural Society’s Award of Garden Merit, this variety is fully hardy and consistent with excellent pest and disease resistance. It is also a member of the RHS Plants for Pollinators collection due its appeal to bees and other large pollinators.

These bulbs will make a welcome addition to beds, borders, containers, rock gardens, around shrubs, paving stones or under deciduous trees. They will look beautiful when mixed in with other flowering bulbs and should ideally be planted en masse in groups of at least 25.

They are easily grown in average, well-drained soils in full sun or partial shade. Keep the soil moist during the growing season, but reduce watering after the foliage begins to die back.
