RHS Mo Bacter Moss Killer 10kg Bag

This 10kg bag of Mo Bacter Moss Killer is endorsed by the RHS for organically treating large areas of moss and thatch in lawns.

With a high potash content, and being 40% organic based fertiliser, it gets to work fast, and the moss dies by indirect action, so it will not scorch the lawn even if there isn’t any rainfall. That means it won’t stain tiles, terraces or concrete.

After 14 to 21 days the moss will turn brown and die. And that’s when the magic happens. Millions of active safe bacteria will now digest the dead moss and thatch, turning it into beneficial plant food. There’s no raking necessary. Added magnesium will strengthen the grass, ensuring it remains a vibrant green colour.

How to use

• Apply 100-150g of granules / m sq.
• If it doesn’t rain within 7 days, we recommend watering to activate
• Repeat after 100 days
• For best results use on soil with a pH around 6.5

When to use

• Spring, through to autumn (March to October)
• 10kg treats up to 100m sq.
