This pack of mixed shallots is an assorted pack of shallots.

Ready to be planted in spring, these shallots are can be planted 3cm/1″ deep and 12cm/5″ apart.

Shallots are ideal for bringing flavour to so many dishes.

Planting Guide

Prior to planting, prepare the ground well by removing weeds and digging over the site with a garden fork to break up the soil for ease of planting.

We recommend planting this assorted pack of shallots in spring and add a general fertiliser.

In late Summer or early Autumn, the leaves will die back ready for harvest which means they are nearly ready for harvesting.

Bend the leaves to one side and a few days later remove the shallots out of the soil and leave them on the soil to ripen. Once dry, remove loose skins and roots and store in a cool, dry place.
