West Country Lupin ‘Desert Sun’

The West Country Lupin ‘Desert Sun’ has bright yellow spiked flowers.

Perfect for brightening up a corner of the garden. This cheerful warm custard yellow lupin bears tall flowers which can reach up to 90cm/3′ in height.

Lupinus ‘Desert Sun’ flowers early in the season and will look stunning positioned at the back of a bed, border or large pot.

Deadhead to encourage a second flush of flowers and protect against frost damage by covering the crown of the plant. Protect young plants from slug, snail and lupin aphid attack.

Planting

• Position in full sun or partial shade
• Prefers moist & well drained soil
• Water pot well before planting and leave to drain
• Dig twice the size of the pot
• Mix in compost & fertiliser to the soil
• Remove pot & place root ball level with the soil
• Top off with compost & fertiliser
• Firm in well & water regularly
