• When to sow: March to May
• Where to sow: In 7.5cm pots of seed compost
• How to sow: Sow singly and cover with 1.5cm of compost. Firm gently and keep moist. Cover with glass, polythene or propagator lid
• Care: Remove cover when seedlings appear and stand outside for a few days in late May. Transplant 40cm apart in each direction, in squares to help pollination. Keep moist and weed free
