Johnsons Country Meadow Grass & Wildflower Seed is a mix of native origin flowers which has been designed to offer optimum appearance and a greater ratio of flowers to grass.
It’s the perfect seed for the gardener looking to create a wild flower meadow and to attract wildlife. It will cover up to approximately 40 square metres.
Wild flower species used includes: Birdsfoot Trefoil, BlackMedick, Black Knapweed, Common Vetch, Meadow Buttercup, Oxeye Daisy, Ribwort Plantain, White Campion, White Clover, Self Heal, Yarrow, Musk Mallow and Red Campion.
Other species used include: Browntop Bent, Crested Dogstail, Meadow Fescue, Red Fescue, Smooth Stalked Meadow Grass and Yorkshire Fog.
Sowing can take place throughout most of the year, providing a good tilth has been prepared. For best results, sow in the months: March, April, August and September.
