How to plant: grown on water, you do not require compost. Unpack the bulb and pour water into the glass carafe until it almost reaches the narrowest part of the vase. Sit the hyacinth bulb on the top of the glass with its pointed end upwards. Be careful to make sure that the water is not touching the bottom of the bulb.

To get the most from this set, plant your hyacinth bulb outside once it has finished blooming. Suitable for your borders, pots or containers, the delightful hyacinth will grow in any garden soil.
