HSK Bamboo Control System

This HSK Bamboo Control System is a roll of protective membrane to retain rhizomes which are underground stems that run parallel to the surface. This roll will help you to prevent the uncontrolled spread of bamboo in the garden.

Ideal for keeping a bamboo growing in a specific area of the garden. Plus, it will give you peace of mind, knowing that a running bamboo will not take over.

Some clump forming bamboos can extend growth with warm and sunny conditions. So, this Control System can save you time trying to cut back unwanted rhizomes.

It works by keeping and directing rhizomes upwards only within the a specified area, which in turn will focus growth with one area, helping to create thicker and more dense coverage.

Simple to install, just allow an overlap of 0.5 metre at the joint and use strong tape seal. You can cut the Control System to size with a sharp blade. HSK recommend using 90cm stakes to hold membranes in place as you work. Full installation guidelines are provided.
