Catherine J Stephenson was born in North Yorkshire, she began painting early and has been a professional water colourist for more than 20 years. Starting with a love of watercolour and a successful career in stained glass design, she then made the decision to do it full time.
Well known for her nature and floral art in which she uses colours that are inspired by nature and are sure to lift any room. They all combine beautifully to create a fresh yet relaxing atmosphere. Full of charming, unique character, Catherine often uses raised silver leaf bead to embellish her artwork, adding highlights and extra emphasis to particular details and shapes.
