This will attract smaller wild birds and help to protect against predators or larger birds trying to enter the nest.

This attractive wooden bird box has a traditional pitched roof with a natural finish, whilst the nest box is painted in a contrasting Dark Blue, providing the authentic seaside look.

The Henry Bell Beach Hut Nest Box includes four useful drainage holes inside the home to keep it dry and free from moisture.

The Nest Box can be opened at the side for cleaning purposes but be careful not to disturb any nesting birds. To site the nest box, always pick somewhere out of strong sunlight and prevailing winds. An open area is best to ensure there is a clear flight path for small birds and out of reach of predator attack. It should also be kept a safe distance away from feeding sites.

The best time of year for siting a nest box is in the Autumn, with the handy metal loop provided.
