Made for outdoor use, the Heritage hanging chair can be used either indoors or outdoors. It is crafted with strong and durable outdoor materials. The pod frame is made from lightweight aluminium and handwoven with outdoor resin rattan in an Ash colourway. Made for home or garden use means this cocoon can be left outside. The supporting metal frame is made from steel for strength and is powder coated for a weather resistant finish. It is important to perform regular visual checks of the support frame to ensure no scratches appear. In the event of a scratch, you can use touch-up paint available from Hartman UK. This will help you to preserve and maintain the frame preventing rust.

Included with this hanging chair are two height-adjustable chains to achieve the perfect leg height. Safety straps are included to prevent over swinging of the seat, helping to ensure safety whilst gently swinging on the seat. The cocoon pod is supplied with a tailored cushion that fits perfectly into the cocoon pod. It has a quilted effect for added interest and it can be secured to the pod with tie points at the back, the side and underneath the cocoon pod. After use, the cushion should be stored away in a safe dry place, as it is not weatherproof. The open sides to the Heritage hanging chair allow for extra elbow space, also making it easy to get in and out of and the high cushion sides and open armrests enhance comfort further.

The Heritage hanging chair will arrive flat packed and will require a minimum of two-persons to assemble. Instructions and fittings are provided but these can also be found on Hartman’s website.
