Hamamelis x intermedia ‘Diane’ (Witch Hazel)

Hamamelis x intermedia ‘Diane’ is a fiery red variety of Witch Hazel.

Clusters of wispy, coppery red flowers explode in late winter to add a firework of colour to your garden. Flowers are borne on bare, leafless branches which are erect and open.

A profusion of colour in winter is followed by large, ovate leaves in summer. These turn a dramatic shade of red, orange and yellow in autumn.

Easy to grow and fully hardy, plant your Hamamelis in a sunny place towards the back of a garden border. They do best in well drained, fertile soil where space is not limited.

Hamamelis can make a great addition to a woodland garden, autumn and winter display or as a specimen plant.
