Gladioli Giant Flowering ‘Pink Lady’ is perfect for adding a touch of vibrancy and colour into any summer garden.
This deliciously bold variety of Gladioli produces large spikes of pink, white and red ruffled flowers and striking sword-shaped foliage. These vibrant perennials can be planted in drifts throughout a herbaceous or cottage border and excel when interspersed with other rich purple or soft pink coloured flowers. Gladioli also make excellent cut flowers with their tall spires of blooms and easy to grow nature.
We recommend planting these bulbs in two week intervals from March into June to ensure a continual floral displays that lasts throughout the summer. For the best results, plant in clusters of five or more in a position of full sun with each bulb 10cm deep and 10cm apart. If possible separate groups of bulbs with some flowers saved for cutting throughout the summer and the rest for the garden display.
These Gladioli may require staking and will need water during the growing period and mulching with peat or compost to conserve moisture.
