Gladioli Giant Flowering ‘Nova Lux’ – 10 bulbs

Gladioli Giant Flowering ‘Nova Lux’ will put on a great performance with its large, fluffy flowers that open in groups from the bottom of the spike to the top.

With these gorgeous yellow blooms and sword-shaped leaves this cormous perennial is perfect for slotting into the back of a summer border. These stunning Gladioli also make for excellent cut flowers and are a favourite of many florists.

For the best results, plant in clusters of five or more in a position of full sun. If possible plant multiple groupings, ensuring a separate supply for cut flowers with the rest for garden display. Plant each bulb 10 cm deep and 10 cm apart. We recommend planting in two week intervals throughout March into June to create a long-lasting succession of flowers.

After the buds have formed, stake the stems at least 5 cm from the base, preventing damage to the bulbs. Gladioli need water during the growing period and mulching with peat or compost to conserve moisture.
