Add some whimsical charm to your garden with the Fallen Fruits Fly Agaric Wooden Nest Box.
Crafted from sustainably sourced Pine wood this decorative and practical nest box has a 32mm entrance hole, designed for easy access for Wrens and many other bird species.
Specially designed to be a safe place for Wrens to shelter and raise their young, this fairy-tale colourful mushroom can be hung against a tree, wall or fence with the handy metal bracket at the rear. The best time of year for siting a nest box is in the Autumn.
The Fallen Fruits Fly Agaric Nest Box includes a useful drainage hole inside the home to keep it dry and free from moisture.
The nest box can be opened at the top by unscrewing the fastening, using tools (tools are not provided) for access, allowing you to clean out the nest box.
Be careful not to disturb any nesting birds. To site the nest box, always pick somewhere out of strong sunlight and prevailing winds. An open area is best to ensure there is a clear flight path for small birds and out of reach of predator attack. It should also be kept a safe distance away from feeding sites.
