Eremurus ‘Cleopatra’ (Foxtail Lily) is a striking and imposing tall perennial producing dense racemes of burnt orange flower buds that open into a vibrant peach-orange, adding drama and spectacular verticality to the garden. These tiny blossoms will open from the bottom up creating a long-lasting, evolving display.

Growing to a height of around 125cm/50″ this bulb will flower throughout June and July providing an early summer display.

This Eremurus ‘Cleopatra’ bulb will look stunning in front of a dark background, at the back of a border or as cut flowers. Plant in groups of at least five for the best visual impact. This plant naturalises well and will come back year after year.

Plant between August and November in a sheltered location to protect the Eremurus from strong winds. ‘Cleopatra’ is winter hardy and should be planted just under the surface with ample space of around 60cm/24″ as it likes the sun to warm its tubers. It will thrive in full sun, in rich, well-drained soils.
