A pack of 20 English Bluebell bulbs, also known as ‘Hyancinthoides Non-Scripta’, produce a bloom that is an icon of the British countryside, and is usually found in woodland areas. With delightful blue bell-shaped flowers, that hang from a delicate stem, they look wonderful woodland areas, planted in pots or can be enjoyed as a cut flower.
These versatile and easy to grow flowers are perfect for naturalising in shaded areas of a woodland garden or under the shade of a deciduous tree but will be just as happy growing in patio pots and borders. These unfussy flowers are easy to grow, and are a great way to attract bees and other pollinators to your garden.
Plant these bulbs 10cm deep and space them 10cm apart in mid to late Autumn to experience the sights and smells of a Bluebell wood in the garden. They like partial shade and a well-drained soil with a good supply of humus such as leaf mould or compost.
