Iris reticulata ‘Joyce’ is a dwarf Iris variety that blooms with relatively large flowers considering it’s small size. The flowers are a lovely vibrant blue with white dappling along the throat and a yellow central blotch.
These stunning flowers sit upon upright stems, rising from grass-like leaves. Expect them to bloom between February and March for a stunning early spring display.
For the greatest visual impact, look to plant into areas such as gravel or rock gardens, along the edges of paths and patios or in raised pots and troughs, including indoors.
Plant these ‘Joyce’ bulbs approximately 8cm/3″ apart from each other and 8cm3″ deep in a position of sun or light shade. They prefer alkaline or neutral soil that is well drained with plenty of humus.
