The Dwarf Iris ‘Gordon’ (Reticulata) blooms with Royal Blue flowers with deep purple tips, a golden yellow centre down the lower petals and dappled with white accents.
Add these vibrant flowers to wildflower gardens to add a splash of colour to the lower levels. Alternatively, these can be planted in pots and containers, in rockeries, under planted trees, or in a cluster for a carpet of spring colour.
Plant these bulbs roughly 10cm deep in the ground, in moist yet well-drained soil from August in Autumn for flowering in early spring.
