The Dwarf Iris ‘Clairette’ (Reticulata) flowers with a single bloom to a stem that features pleasing pale blue petals with dark tips with white centres.
These flowers bloom late winter and into early spring – plant them at the front borders, in pots or containers, or even in a window and see these delicate blue flowers announce the arrival of spring.
Be sure to plant these bulbs roughly 10cm deep in well-drained soil in full sun or dappled shade. ‘Clairette’ Irises are great naturalisers and will eventually create clusters over a few years after planted.
The flowers on this Iris are also great at attracting bees and butterflies.
