Luminous white, deeply cupped flowers with hints of blush and yellow burst from soft pink buds, revealing golden stamens and an uplifting fragrance on the David Austin Sir David Beckham® English Shrub Rose. A surprising and timelessly beautiful rose, it has captivating heart-shaped petals that grow above green foliage and red tinged stems that have very few thorns.
A wonderful addition to flowerbeds and container displays, you can expect a cascade of exquisite flowers with a complex musk fragrance on this upright and strong shrub. An exceptionally free-flowering variety, it forms a display that gets better as each year passes with more than enough blooms to enjoy in fresh-cut floral arrangements around the home as well.
A celebration of family connections, this rose was chosen as a touching gesture from David Beckham’s daughter, Harper, to celebrate his 50th birthday. With David Austin Roses itself a family run business, they took this sentiment and selected a rose that combines sensational fragrance, shape and the complex breeding of a luminous white rose, as an ode to family and a display of timeless beauty.

How to care for your rose
To get the best from your David Austin Sir David Beckham® English Shrub Rose, plant it in a sunny but sheltered position in moist, free draining soil. When planting your rose apply a sprinkling of David Austin Mycorrhizal Fungi around the base to encourage strong root growth. Throughout the season, regularly deadhead the spent blooms to keep it looking at its best and to encourage new buds to form.
