David Austin Scarborough Fair®, is a delicate soft pink shrub rose with semi-double flowers that are held in large sprays and produce a rich and complex classic old rose scent.
Despite the impression of delicacy, this rose is a very strong and disease resistant variety that produces many blooms that can be enjoyed from late spring to early winter. A great choice for borders as well as pots & containers, as it forms as bushy rather than upright shrub, it also creates delightful rose hedges to add structure and zoning to garden designs.
To ensure you get the best floral display, plant your rose in a position of full sun or partial shade, in any moist but free draining soil. Plant your rose with a sprinkling of Mycorrhizal Fungi to encourage strong root growth and good overall plant health. Whilst this rose is in flower, we suggest regular deadheading to encourage new bud growth, so you can enjoy beautiful fragrant blooms.
