Wollerton Old HallĀ® (Ausblanket) is an incredibly fragrant climbing rose bred by David Austin Roses. It has a warm and heady Myrrh scent that is combined with its magnificent pale apricot chalice-shaped blooms. These flowers age to creamy hues as the blooms mature and form an elegant cascade of soft shades with an uplifting perfume.
These stunning blooms appear in flushes from late spring through to early winter and last for around three to four weeks to create a long-lasting floral display. It is relatively easy to train and is ideal for growing into a large garden arch or along a wall or fence.
Introduced in 2011, this David Austin English climbing rose is named after Wollerton Old Hall in Shropshire. It is located near to the David Austin nursery and features David Austin English Roses in its gardens.

How to care for your rose
To get the best blooms from your David Austin Wollerton Old HallĀ® rose, plant it with a sprinkling of David Austin Mycorrhizal Fungi to help the roots establish and encourage good plant health. We also recommend regular feeding with rose food, once in late March or early April and again in July. Whilst this rose is in flower, regularly deadhead the spent blooms to encourage new bud growth.
