The Lady Gardener® (Ausbrass) is an English shrub rose bred by David Austin which bears perfectly-formed pure apricot blooms. It has loosely arranged petals and a wonderful medium Tea fragrance that is calming and comforting, and perfectly complements the elegance of this rose.
Use it to creating captivating containers that adds colour and interest to a patio or seating area, or grow it as a rose hedge for a fabulously fragrant display. It also looks wonderful planted alongside an array of other blooms and grasses for flowerbeds that are full of colour and texture.
This English shrub rose was bred by David Austin and introduced in 2013. It was named in recognition of the work done by Plant Heritage, who help to protect Britain’s garden plant diversity.

How to care for your rose
To get the best display from your shrub rose, plant it with a sprinkling of David Austin Mycorrhizal Fungi around the base to help the roots establish and encourage good plant health. We also recommend regularly feeding with rose food, once in late March or early April and again in July. Whilst this rose is in flower, deadhead the spent blooms to encourage new bud growth.
