Strawberry Hill® (Ausrimini) is a beautiful fragrant climbing rose bred by David Austin Roses which grows clusters of mid-pink cupped roses, set against glossy dark green foliage. In addition to its beautiful floral display, it has a strong Myrrh fragrance that is full of herbaceous green notes.
With a wonderful cascade of blooms, it is perfect for growing through a garden arch or pillar, or for enjoying the beautiful flowers as it grows over a doorway. It has an easy to train nature, as well as robust and reliable growth that has been recognised by the Royal Horticultural Society, who have given it their prestigious Award of Garden Merit.
Introduced in 2006, this English climbing rose was bred by David Austin® and is named after the gothic revival house in Twickenham, London. Strawberry Hill was built by Horace Walpole, who was the son of the first British Prime Minister, Sir Robert Walpole.

How to care for your rose
To get the best from your Strawberry Hill climbing rose, plant it with a sprinkling of David Austin Mycorrhizal Fungi to help the roots establish and encourage good plant health. We also recommend regularly feeding it with rose food, once in late March or early April and again in July. Whilst this rose is in flower, deadhead spent blooms to encourage new bud growth.
