David Austin Port Sunlight® (Auslofty) is a vigorous upright shrub rose which produces medium-large, flat, quartered roses in rich apricot hues, that pale towards the edges. These beautiful blooms have a delightful medium tea fragrance that makes this rose perfect for cutting to admire its ruffled rosettes of roses around your home.
Its vigorous upright growth also makes it a wonderful addition to mixed borders or for growing as a fragrant rose hedge, to add structure to garden displays.
This English shrub rose was bred by David Austin and introduced in 2007. It is named after the well-known model village in the Wirral, where there is a beautiful garden of English Roses.

How to care for your rose
To get the best blooms from your David Austin Port Sunlight® shrub rose, plant it with a sprinkling of David Austin Mycorrhizal Fungi to help the roots establish and encourage good plant health. We also recommend regular feeding with rose food, once in late March or early April and again in July. Whilst this rose is in flower, regularly deadhead the spent blooms to encourage new bud growth.
