Imogen (Austritch) is an upright medium English shrub rose bred by David AustinĀ® which is available in a 6-litre pot. It has delicately frilled, pale yellow to cream coloured petals arranged around a delightful button eye. These charming blooms are perfectly complemented by an uplifting, light-medium fruity fragrance, to create elegant and charming garden displays.
This rose is beautiful grown as a rose hedge or combined with other plants in mixed borders. It also makes an excellent cut flower to enjoy in floral displays around the home. If you are planting your rose in a border, we recommend planting it in groups of the same variety for a stunning display, that gets better year after year.
Bred by David Austin and introduced in 2016, the name of this rose was inspired by the character Imogen in William Shakespeare’s, Cymbeline.

How to care for your rose
To get the best blooms from your shrub rose, plant it with a sprinkling of David Austin Mycorrhizal Fungi around the base to help the roots establish and encourage good plant health. We also recommend regularly feeding your rose with rose food, once in late March or early April and again in July. Whilst this rose is in flower, regularly deadhead to encourage new bud growth.
