Producing an abundance of flowers throughout the season, David Austin Iceberg® is a vigorous bloomer that produces large clusters of medium-sized, lightly double, white flowers. These flowers appear against a backdrop of glossy green leaves along smooth and easy to train stems.
Hardy in all of the UK and northern Europe, this climbing rose will usually reach a height of around 4.5m within the first 3 years. It is fond of sunlight and should avoid areas of heavy shade, however, it is tolerant of poorer soils and is flexible with pH. We recommend an application of Mycorrhizal Fungi when planting to help establish roots and encourage good plant health.
The blooms will appear from late spring through to early winter, emerging in flushes that each tend to last around 3 to 4 weeks.
It should ideally be planted into an arch, pergola, obelisk or pillar, however, it will also excel when used to train up a garden wall or fence or along the front of a house.
With its beautiful, plentiful blooms and easily trainable nature, this sweetly scented rose is perfect for a wide range of gardens and planting schemes.
