A Royal Horticultural Society Award of Garden Merit winner, ‘Adélaïde d’Orléans®’ English Rambling Rose is easy to grow and beautiful to admire with clusters of small, lightly scented white flowers. The semi-double flowers emerge pink and quickly fade to white. They are held is dainty, arching sprays that add a touch of elegance to garden displays.
The flowers hang gracefully from the branch rather like the blooms of a Japanese cherry, with very lax and not too vigorous growth, making it an easy variety to train. It also has the added benefit of being almost evergreen. This rambling rose is ideal for training over a large arch, across a pergola or fence and growing into small trees.
First introduced in 1826, Adélaïde d’Orléans® blooms once in the summer producing a single flush that lasts 3 to 4 weeks. The incredible flowers are so abundant, they will create a dazzling display to admire. The fragrance is light and musky, and the foliage is a dark green to provide a beautiful backdrop for the flowers.

To get the best from your rose, plant it with a sprinkling of David Austin Mycorrhizal Fungi around the base to help the roots establish and encourage good plant health. We also recommend regularly feeding with rose food, once in late March or early April and again in July.
